June 05, 2009 - Last week, Cardiff-based Coach Brokers Ltd completed a six figure deal to purchase the online arm of one of its biggest competitors. Coach Broker is already a big player in the transport hire business, and this deal will see this company confirm itself as the leading provider of Coach Hire in the country.
The deal, which exceeds £250,000, has secured more than 60 high-traffic websites for the national coach hire network and ensures significantly increased business in the coming year. The company already has the largest online presence in the coach hire market and retains its position as the highest ranked website on all major search engines.
Coach Broker owner and managing director Tej Randeva, who also owns and runs the highly successful Limo Broker business from the same premises, is pleased that the deal has finally been completed: “This deal is very important in cementing our position as the premier coach hire firm in the UK. Already the effect on our business has been significant, and we have only converted about a quarter of the new websites into our network!”
Indeed, this increased demand has lead to Mr. Randeva scaling up plans for new salesperson recruitment. Tej remarked “We had initially planned on a 30% employee growth over the next few months. However, now that this deal is done, we’re planning on doubling our sales team in order to deal with the demand”. The sales team is not the only area that will see new recruitment take place; Coach Brokers Ltd intends to expand its web development team. These expansions will bring much needed jobs to the local area which is sorely needed during this time of economic uncertainty.
The next step for Coach Broker is an expansion into larger premises which is something that is becoming a bit of a necessity, Tej commented “We are getting a little short on space in the office at the moment; we had not expected the scale of our expansion would be quite so high. But we are in the final stages of negotiation with a few commercial agents in the Bay and expect to move in the next few months”
