May 30, 2007 - Mr. Rocky Passafaro, better known as ‘Captain DePaul’, will speak to the kids and sign autographs. He will also chat with the parents and answer questions concerning the acting and how to break into the industry.
The Statewide Talent Search will have top acting, model, and talent agents and agencies from CT, NYC and New England to scout talent in hopes to find some new fresh faces and talent in CT. They are looking for Actors, Singers, Rappers, Models, Dancers and any acts unusual talents.
Infant to Adult Walk-ins can obtain an onsite interview with the talent agents. Producers will be looking for new hot beats and artists can submit their press kits.
Junior Talent, ages 7 to 17, will have the opportunity to perform in front of the agents and scouts for free. They will have 3 minutes to show them just how talented they really are.
Among the agents will be JT Talent & Casting, one of the largest casting agencies in NYC. They have cast for television networks such as NBC, ABC, Lifetime, HBO, Showtime, Nick, as well as commercials and movies.
Model Club Inc – Boston, Ma will be aggressively looking for talented infants, teens and adults to place in commercials, print and TV. Their clients include major corporations including Macy’s, Nickelodeon, Disney, Toys R Us, Parents, Stride Rite etc. Also looking for talent will be: D Jamee Enterprises – Talent Sony BMG – J Records Aff.

The Conglomerate / Double Empak – Music producers / DMX, Camron, Dipset
Guest speakers will be:
Bartolo Rafaelle – S.A.G. Union actor and celebrity affiliated (Guest Speaker)
Rob Hawk, Movie Producer will be there with the stars from, MYA The Movie.
Mr. Hawk will be looking for actors for 3 of his upcoming films.
Our guest performers will be Stizz Aggression, a local, known for his music on MTV.
Recording artist Young Rahda, newly signed to Sony BMG.
Jenna, 12 year old up and coming R&B artist.
Also appearing will be another local, one of the stars of MYA and upcoming recording artist, Flow-Jo.
We realize there is great talent in CT, but resources and agencies are out of reach for many to be seen and heard.
CT residents will have the opportunity to be seen, interviewed, and maybe get that big break.
The coordinator of the Statewide Talent Search is credited for at least four New Haven residents obtaining a part in a movie, accepted into the Sundance Festival.
