June 26, 2007 - Las Vegas, Nevada - Capo Records has announced there plans to expand the presence of the local Vegas music scene by uniting local artists into joint projects that will be co-branded with local and regional consumer companies looking to reach a very large, continually growing audience.
“We’re ready!” says Capo Records CEO Michael Bellomo, “Vegas is already the tourist destination capital of the world and Vegas entertainment is part of the reason. We’ll put on a regular professional showcase of local talent and accompany it with a related CD project. We market it to the general public, tourists, conventioneers, and the regional colleges. Have it be enjoyed here, and then be taken back to all the corners of the world! Opening new target markets that’ll be track online through our websites such as MySpace.”
The unique part of Capo’s plan is that unlike most “Advertiser/Sponsor” relationships, Capo has a real plan to “glue” the fans to their community partners with the creation of its community referral club. Dubbed “ClubMADE” and complete with a mock “mafia induction” ceremony, fans become “card carrying” members of “Capo Family” which then entitles them to VIP referrals to all of Capo’s Partners.
In addition, Capo Records further co-brands with its partners by including their names, logo’s, and contact information on all CD’s, thousands of Promo Flyers, Concert T’s, Posters, Banners, Show Tickets, Print Ads, Online Ads, and part of intense Internet Marketing campaigns.
Capo Projects are released on a quarterly basis and each is divided into 16 –32 equal slots or spaces. Each slot/space is a reasonable $1000 and that includes everything. (Even all re-prints of CD’s!)
“It’s great!” Capo Artist Mikey Batts says, “We’re able to get the ball rolling with CD’s, Promo’s, and Concert/Events while our Partner/Sponsors get tons of valuable, viral, branding along with tons of new business referrals! Sounds to me like one of those “Win, Win” situations. Only in Vegas!”
A portion of all proceeds goes to support the local SAFENEST charity responsible for helping to stop domestic violence.
Michael Bellomo is a Las Vegas native attending both CCSN and UNLV. For the last 10 years he has been involved with developing marketing, technology, and training for FORTUNE 500 Companies. He officially started Capo Records in 2007 after 2 years of research and planning.
