November 11, 2009 - Cape Coral Remodeling Company, The Aubuchon Team of Companies, will hold their 11th annual Helping Hands for the Holidays on Monday, November 23, 2009. This hometown event will benefit local chapters of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and Builders Care—a non-profit division of the Lee Building Industry Association.
Entertainment will be provided by area youth singers including local school children from Evangelical Christian School, and “The Nabbies,” a talented group of youth from Cape Coral. Area restaurants, including BUBBA’S RoadHouse, GEO’s Italian Restaurant, and The Joint in Cape Harbour, will donate refreshments for the event. The evening will feature a Rockefeller Center-style lighting of a Christmas tree and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Diane VanArsdale, Director of Marketing and Sales for Team Aubuchon, says, “This is our 11th year hosting Helping Hands for the Holidays, and it’s become a celebrated tradition for our team, subcontractors, customers, and our community. The Ronald McDonald House, Make-a-Wish Foundation and Builders Care do so much to help families in this area, we want to do what we can to support them. Our main goal is to help make life a little easier and better for these children and their families. Helping Hands for the Holidays, sponsored by The Aubuchon Team of Companies, is an annual fundraising event to help area children and families in need. In the last 10 years, Team Aubuchon has raised nearly $200,000 for these charities.
Helping Hands for the Holidays will take place Monday, November 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Team Aubuchon building in Club Square. Admission is free. All are welcome.
