Canadian Artist Lonnie Glass Releases "Goin' Home"

New CD release available from Lonnie Glass with Folk and Americana. His top influences include Elvis, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen.

(1888PressRelease) May 27, 2009 - Lonnie Glass is not a breaking new Artist, nor is he the likes of your favorite American Idol contestant. He's a Musician who creates his own style of "Americana" and sings lyrics that share stories. Lonnie has been playing in bands since the late 50's. He's seen the changes in the music industry, and the music itself.

After years of touring, including shows in Canada, the USA, and even places as far as Scandinavia, he is a seasoned Musician. However, Lonnie is somewhat of a Troubadour as he keeps pushing forward. As an independent Artist, Lonnie also handles the major aspects of his music career like booking shows. Through his experiences, he keeps a positive attitude and it is not hard to see it.

Lonnie remembers his first gig that took place when he was still in school! It was in his school cafeteria. However, his aspirations for being on stage began when his Mother took him to see Elvis perform in 1957. Today he often performs on stage as a solo act with his six string guitar. Lonnie says that he is "Still riding the current of this musical stream". It looks like this new CD has arrived on shore!

The new CD release "Goin' Home" is now available at (http://www.lonnieglass.com) On this CD, you can also hear some of his influences in his music, including styles of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan.
