May 31, 2007 - Do you think that your experiences with alcohol would help others? Have you had an alcohol problem and have changed your life around? Do you still live with, or have you in the past lived with, someone with an alcohol problem. If you fit into these categories and would be willing to be interviewed, probably by phone, then we would like to hear from you.
We are putting together a new resource for people with alcohol problems and would like to interview people who have ‘been there’ and are now willing to give an hour of their time. We feel that your experience could be a powerful tool to help others experiencing similar problems.
An experienced psychologist who has carried out many research studies and has been involved in both treatment and education for nearly 25 years will conduct the interview. Although it will consist of a number of open questions the interview will be mainly a vehicle for you to discuss your experiences.
