This course is designed for photographers who want to  to quicken their reflexes and become more self assured photographing strangers.

OTHER UPCOMING WORKSHOPS INCLUDE:

FOURTH ANNUAL MONUMENT VALLEY PHOTO WORKSHOP.
October 8th - 12th, 2009
THREE SPACES LEFT!

Join Keith Skelton on a four day workshop where you will photograph free standing sandstone rock forms that rise majestically 1,000 feet from the desert floor. We will teach you how to tap into your creativity so you may return home with many memorable photographs. We will have daily discussions about pre-visualization, seeing color, composition, exposure and techniques.

THIRD ANNUAL ALABAMA HILLS, CALIFORNIA WORKSHOP
Oct. 17-18, 2009
THREE SPACES LEFT!

Enjoy an October weekend to the Sierra Nevada Range when the light is right! For either the beginner or advanced photographer.

Between the base of Mt. Whitney in the steep, eastern escarpment of the Sierra Nevada Range, and the historic town of Lone Pine, where the extensive movie history of the area is evident, are the stunningly unique Alabama Hills. Seemingly primordial-looking boulders and micro-ranges of rock create an infinitely textured foreground of smooth and rounded shapes with a dramatic view of the rising Sierra peaks above.

Experienced landscape photographers will quickly see the possibilities. Informal and fun, your instructors will be shooting alongside you at all times. We will have discussions about techniques and creativity each day. This trip is about shooting — lots of shooting. We will work closely together, sharing our knowledge and experience. Feel free to bring samples of your photography for review, as the goal of this workshop is to have fun and become a better and more competent photographer.

THIRD ANNUAL DEATH VALLEY PHOTO WORKSHOP WITH KEITH SKELTON
DECEMBER 3-6. 2009

Death Valley: The name can be foreboding and gloomy. Yet in the Valley, you can find colorful land forms, snow-covered peaks, ever changing sand dunes, amazing canyons, and some of the best photo opportunities in the world.

Participants will photograph Ubehebe Crater, Badwater, Artist Point, Dante's View, Scotty’s Castle, the Race Track, and the ghost town of Rhyolite, known as The Queen City of Death Valley.

December is one of the best times of the year in the Park with few people, low angled light and snow capped mountains. Winter has cool days, chilly nights and rarely seen, rainstorms. With snow capping the high peaks and low angled winter light, this season is especially beautiful for exploring the valley.

This workshop is open to of all levels of photography, using 35 mm to large format, film and/or digital.
