August 25, 2006 - (Calgary, AB) - Calgary’s work at home moms (WAHMs) can now find affordable start-up advice, networking opportunities and marketing ideas, thanks to Calgarywahms.com, an online business club designed exclusively for them.
Britt Raposo, mother of two little girls and founder of the forum, knows that most work at home moms don’t have a lot of money to spend on business development. She explains, “Most clubs I've considered joining were well over two-hundred dollars per year to join. I don’t have that kind of money to fork out.” Ms. Raposo keeps club memberships relatively low - from twenty to fifty dollars a year.
Members meet regularly online and IRL (in real life) to encourage each other and share their ideas.
