Cadillac CUE System Set to Debut on Upcoming 2012 Models
The Cadillac CUE system is set to premiere on new 2012 Cadillac models and will be available at Plaza Cadillac in Leesburg, FL.
- Ocala, FL (1888PressRelease) December 22, 2011 - Plaza Cadillac is proud to announce that their future 2012 Cadillac models will feature the new Cadillac CUE system. CUE stands for Cadillac User Experience, and this system will provide drivers with a unique, complete in-vehicle experience.
The CUE system will be give drivers access to entertainment and information data from up to 10 Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices, USBs, SD cards, and MP3 players with a vehicle infotainment system. Music, navigation, weather, text messages, and phone calls are just some of the features that the CUE system controls. In the top of the instrument panel is an 8-inch LCD touch screen that includes large and easy-to-use icons. The closer the driver's finger gets to the touch screen, the larger the icons become for easy access.
Dave Lyon, executive director of Cadillac Interior Design said, "CUE is a very elegant in-vehicle hub of all information and entertainment in your life. All of CUE's controls use the same design vernacular to create a harmony unique to Cadillac."
The CUE system can also be controlled with simply voice commands. Its Natural Speech Recognition allows drivers to say fewer words to control features such as the music or navigation system in the car. Micky Bly, executive director of Global Electric System stated that the CUE system allows drivers to access the features on their technology devices without taking their hands off the steering wheel and their eyes off the road.
The Cadillac XTS and ATS luxury sedans and the SRX luxury crossover will be the first vehicles to premiere the CUE system in 2012.
