September 18, 2008 - Browndorf PEM, LLC today announced that Kevin T. Carias has joined as Executive Director / Funds Group. Prior to Browndorf PEM, he was the principal of a Nevada-based financial services company providing private consulting to high-net-worth clients, primarily in alternative investments such as real estate, media investments, hedge fund strategies and life insurance settlements, where he has been a principal in structuring private Senior Life Settlement portfolios of over $25 million to date.
Mr. Carias brings over 12 years of experience in consulting and finance and has worked in various roles involving corporate development, venture capital, private equity and real estate. In recent years, he held the position of Vice President of Corporate Finance for a Los Angeles real estate development firm and also served as a Senior Director of an Irvine, California based multi-family office, where he provided investment analysis and due diligence support in the alternative investment sectors. He managed an administrative staff and was jointly responsible for day-to-day operations in the management of assets in excess of $1 billion.
Mr. Carias holds an MBA in Finance from the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University in Orange, California and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California. He is currently preparing to receive his Series 65 license.
