November 20, 2007 - Memphis, TN. -- The Bronzes Of The Brave ™ Memorial Statue Project is scheduled to honor PFC John Eli Brown during a special half-time ceremony of the MTSU v. Troy State Football Game on Tuesday November 20, 2007 in Troy, Alabama.
The ongoing goal of the Bronzes Of The Brave ™ project is to present a life-size, life-like bronze bust statue to every U.S. military service man or woman killed in the war on terror. The ultimate goal of the operation: never forget the brave men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the cause of Freedom around the globe.
The bronze bust, made specifically in the likeness of PFC John Eli Brown in his full military dress greens, will be presented to his father, mother, and family in a special half-time ceremony at mid-field, with a special recognition speech by the Bronzes Of The Brave ™ Founder and Executive Director, Mr. Sam Patterson, of Memphis, Tennessee. The United States of America, the 101st Airborne Division, The Great State of Alabama, the City of Troy, and his family are all so very proud of PFC John Eli Brown: What he stood for - and what he died for.
