July 21, 2008 - Broadmark, Inc. today announced its introduction of patented technology gCAP™ to companies engaged in the design and distribution of headwear in the streetwear industry. gCAP™ is a refined, yet simple solution for all headwear including caps, hats, and visors that firmly holds and protects glasses, sunglasses and other items from falling off and becoming lost or damaged.
According to Rick Flagg, President of Broadmark "Headwear has always been a big seller in this market and now sunglasses have become a popular addition to streetwear brands collections of late. Moreover, the industry is going mainstream retail and we think it is a good time to introduce the concept to this expanding market," he added.
Broadmark has successfully licensed gCAP™ to companies servicing the golf, corporate premium and racecar markets.
