September 29, 2007 - Close up magician Rob James from London has been performing for several years on the corporate and private circuit across the UK. Recently his act was seen by talent scouts from the well known Magic Castle venue based in Hollywood, California.
The Magic Castle is well known amongst magicians and Los Angeles socialites. An exclusive members-only club, it is notoriously difficult to get in to visit. Previous magicians to have walked through the doors include David Copperfield, Siegfried and Roy and Lance Burton. Rob was booked to perform his act four times a night in the close-up gallery - the intimate theatre designed specifically to showcase amazing magic inches away from the audience.
