Bristol County Savings Bank Hosts Bobblehead Doll Night At McCoy Stadium In Pawtucket, RI On Saturday August 4th

4,000 lucky young fans will receive a collector’s edition Bobblehead Doll of current Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis, a former PawSox.

Providence-Fall River-Warwick, RI-MA (1888PressRelease) July 31, 2007 - DATELINE: TAUNTON, MA…
Only three short years ago, Kevin Youkilis was competing in his second season with the Pawtucket Red Sox… Fast forward three years, and the image of Youkilis, the current starting first baseman for the Boston Red Sox, will reappear at McCoy Stadium in the form of thousands of lifelike bobblehead dolls on Saturday August 4th when the PawSox take on the Rochester Red Wings at 6:05 pm.

The first 4000 young fans (age 14 and under) will receive free Kevin Youkilis bobblehead dolls that night, courtesy of Bristol County Savings Bank and NBC-10. The collector’s edition bobblehead doll honors Youkilis’ achievements as he worked his way up the minor league ladder before becoming a fulltime starter with the Red Sox in 2006.

In a preseason column posted on bearcats.com (the website of the University of Cincinnati), Cincinnati sportscaster Dan Hoard, who is also the Play-by-Play announcer for the Pawtucket Red Sox, quoted former Bearcat Youkilis saying “It's an honor - you know you've made it when you get a bobblehead of yourself."

Bristol County Savings Bank CEO Dennis Kelly stated, “Bobblehead Doll night has become one of the best attended games of the season for the PawSox and a great night for area families.”
