“The economy has dealt us some challenges in the last 12-18 months and leaves little room for error when operating oil and gas programs,” Faulkner said. “However with AFEs down to half of what they were a year ago we can drill wells for $600,000 instead of spending $1,200,000 like we did a year ago. As oil hovers around $70 a barrel now is the time to invest in and immediately drill oil and gas projects.”
