May 06, 2009 - Join Energy TV at the Boxer Blues event which is an entertaining evening designed for the oil and gas community to network while raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer research.
Hosted during the Go-EXPO, Boxer Blues takes place at Hotel Arts on Wednesday, June 10th, 2009, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Energy TV is proud to feature Canadian Petroleum icon and guest speaker W. Brett Wilson, who will share his journey to become a prostate cancer survivor. Wilson is also the Co-founder of FirstEnergy Capital Corp. and an award winning entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is currently the Managing Director & President, Prairie Merchant Corporation as well as a panelist on CBC's Dragons' Den.
Funds for prostate cancer research will be raised during Boxer Blues through various activities including; a silent auction, blue beads, air brush tattoos, and the Nintendo Wii boxing zone. If you're ready to help knock out prostate cancer, members of the local boxing club will be on hand to take on all challengers at the Boxer Blues Boxing Arena.
This year, more than 400 delegates as well as local VIP guests from the local petroleum industry will attend Energy TV's cocktail and appetizer fueled event to help bring us all one step closer to a cure!
This fun-filled evening will also be filmed and distributed online at www.energytv.com.
