“many youngsters have a distort image of Bollywood: they believe it is like a paradise. We confront them with the raw reality of an immense industry and we try to cram them for the real work back in Holland; where there are many Bollywood danceclasses and workshops, but a lack of discipline, professionality, passion, the right mentality and preverance. This second group is very multicultural, there is someone from Dutch, and even a girl of Maroccon origin. This project is the living proof of Bollywood meeting the world”.
Besides 6 hours lessons per day, the students will visit museums, landscapes like Lokhandwala, film sets and shopping malls. They will also have lunch and dinner in exclusive restaurants and hotels to taste the glamour and hectic of Bollywood in Bombay. Some famous stars will suprise and motivate the girls with a meet & greet. A visit to the aidshospital and street schools are also on the schedule.
The first group left in Octobre. The Dutch students Anjani Biere and Rajshri Ramman came back with the highest markings. The third group will leave at the 10th of July. For more information and bookings: www.sanoja.nl/bcc.
