Since 2007, the Body Art Training Group has offered on-site bloodborne pathogens training for body art professionals. These courses provide training as required by OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030; California%u2019s CCR Title 8, Sec. 5193; and California's Safe Body Art Act (AB 300).
In 2010, the Body Art Training Group began offering classes online at http://www.bodyarttraininggroup.com.
These online classes are specifically designed for the body art industry and are suitable for all types of body art professionals: tattoo artists, piercers, permanent cosmetics technicians, electrologists, and body modification practitioners.
The Body Art Training Group will present the bloodborne pathogens segment of an all-day training program on California's new Safe Body Art Act (AB 300). This training will be given on Monday, April 2 in Sacramento, CA at the Annual Educational Symposium of the California Environmental Health Association.
