February 13, 2007 - Buffalo, NY - One of the songs, "Hold Tight Mama" recently finished 24th out of 502 entries in an American Idol online competition.
BluesRoot is comprised of two 1960s era music veterans and retired businessmen: John D, Moore and Art Borgeson.
Moore is the singer/songwriter of the group, and also plays electric acoustic guitar and harmonica while Borgeson adds Nashville inspired electric guitar lead lines and backup vocals.
When touring, the group expands to three with the addition of another '60's music vet, Jeff Ward who adds backing vocals and bass guitar.
