September 17, 2008 - IDC, a leading provider of global IT research and advice, has profiled BlueAlly in a recent publication released in July 2008. The report titled, “BlueAlly — Vendor Profile Series for Research and Development/Product Engineering Services,” is published under a series of IDC publications for Global Sourcing Strategies.
Commenting on the publication, BlueAlly President Vijay Tanamala stated, “We are very pleased to receive such positive coverage in our first IDC report. BlueAlly is delighted to be featured as a major vendor in the Research and Development/Product Engineering Services marketplace. We are proud that IDC has recognized BlueAlly’s success-vetted and compelling combination of process frameworks, innovation platforms such as the IP-CP3, and industry-leading partnership models for outsourced product development services.”
The report states:” BlueAlly seems to have the right strategy to sustain its current growth rate.….. Its product realization offering has enabled it to create reusable intellectual property (IP) components for its customers.”
Other key differentiators cited in the report include:
1) “BlueAlly has done a good job of designing and developing approximately 250 commercial grade off-the-shelf products for its customers. Its customers can leverage this in-house expertise at BlueAlly and use these products across their product life cycle to create and get their products to market faster.”
2) “BlueAlly’s IP-CP3 platform (IP creation, procurement, protection, and propagation) enables it to provide services across all phases of its concept-to-market partnerships, meeting the needs of its customers. The platform enables BlueAlly to integrate technologies and tools with processes in compliance with several standards and maturity models.”
3) "BlueAlly has a repository of more than 300 software components and nearly 50 product frameworks that can be widely used in executing projects, saving time and money for its customers".
4) "BlueAlly’s "shared R&D/product engineering" vision has a lot of merit. Collaborating with other vendors to create an ecosystem of partners that offer a complete range of product development services is a good value proposition."
