Blue Chip Launches SecureVault
Blue Chip launches robust Cloud-based Backup and Disaster Recovery solution for SMEs.
- (1888PressRelease) October 25, 2011 - Blue Chip, the specialist IT provider announces the launch of its Online Backup Service, SecureVault, as part of its Cloud offering.
Anthony Green, Sales and Marketing Director at Blue Chip explains: "Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions are a necessary part of an IT strategy; no one can afford to lose their data and it has to be readily accessible, should the worst happen. SecureVault from Blue Chip achieves security and reliability, whilst driving the cost down, making it extremely affordable. Businesses only pay for the space they use, which makes SecureVault an extremely attractive proposition for all companies, from SMEs to large corporate organisations."
SecureVault provides full recovery of a system from the ground up, and since Backup happens seamlessly and invisibly online, it negates the need for tapes. The whole process is quicker and easier to support and manage than traditional backup methods and it is very easy to use; IT managers log in remotely and select the relevant data for recovery with immediate downloads.
The data is stored in an encrypted vault where it remains secure, since each company is the only holder of the encryption key for their data. Furthermore, Blue Chip's network is designed to remove single points of failure, making it far more robust than the majority of on-premise solutions. It means that in the unlikely event that any point in the network does fail, a company's data will still be available whenever it is required.
Extremely affordable, SecureVault is available at £1.25 per GB stored, after Blue Chip has deduplicated and compressed the data. For further information, email ict ( @ ) bluechip dot uk.com or call 0845 034 7222.
