January 05, 2009 - In honor of our nation's renowned Black History Month, Jamaal Al-Din of Boise, Idaho based will speak at Boise area schools on the importance of racial equality and human rights during the 2009 Black History Month. In past years, Al-Din who is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, has had the opportunity to speak on local radio stations during Black History Month and will be contacting several this year, including 93.1, J-105, and KISS-103 FM with regards to speaking daily, during our 2009 Black History Month.

"It's an honor, any time I'm priviledged with the opportunity to communicate the values and ethics that govern american society, to our youth," said Jamaal.
Jamaal Al-Din, who is a 19-year devout Muslim, recalls speaking at Boise area schools during the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan.
"It's fascinating, to see the enterest that kids take in different cultures and ways of life, without bias. The pure agenda of youth will always be a phenominon," said Al-Din.
Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 will provide an official announcement of which radio station(s) will air Jamaal Al-Din's Black History Month Tributes during February 2009, within the coming weeks.
