Bird Flu In Suffolk - Should More People Have Access To Infection Control Equipment? - www.Infection-Control-Specialists.co.uk

Turkeys on a poultry farm at Redgrave, near Diss, in Suffolk, UK has tested positive for the H5N1 highly-pathogenic strain of bird flu, it has been confirmed.

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality infection control equipment designed to protect the public from killer diseases such as H5N1 & MRSA

(1888PressRelease) November 14, 2007 - Experts at the site have said that "the turkeys were dropping like flies" - Defra officials were not able to confirm the exact strain as "It is far too premature at this stage to identify the exact strain,".

As Turkeys are the most prone species of poultry to die from avian flu this would suggest that the strain is the same as the February outbreak at Bernard Matthews in Holton.

Fred Landeg, the acting chief vet, has told people to keep poultry in their houses as a precaution.

A local company, 1st UK Pandemic Providers Limited has already seen as sharp rise in the amount of sales of their infection control products.

These infection Control products include Wipes, Sprays and hand sanitizer that contain a formula that is proven to kill both H5N1 and MRSA.

These can be found by visiting their website at: www.Infection-Control-Specialists.co.uk

So is this going to be another lucky escape? or could this disease which has killed over 200 people worldwide be more than just a blip in our national Bio-Security?
