Biography Of Kim Il Sung Published

“Biography of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung” Vol. 1 (Enlarged Edition) compiled by the History Institute of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea has been brought out by the WPK Publishing House.

The 1st and 2nd chapters recount that President Kim Il Sung born in Mangyongdae nursed grand ambitions of revolution in his early years and brought the path of the Korean revolution to maturity in the days of his early revolutionary activities.

The 3rd chapter deals with the fact that the President founded the great Juche idea, the Songun idea, put forward the Juche-oriented revolutionary line, the Songun revolutionary line and hastened preparations for its implementation.

The 4th chapter tells that the President formed the Anti-Japanese People’s Guerillas and waged the great anti-Japanese war.

Recounted in the 5th and 6th chapters are the facts that the President expanded and developed the overall Korean revolution centring on the anti-Japanese armed struggle in reliance upon the guerrilla base on the bank of the Tuman River, and saved the destiny of the Korean revolution by firmly maintaining the independent stand.

The 7th and 8th chapters tell about the historical facts that he brought the Korean revolution to a great upsurge with Mt. Paektu, the ancestral mountain, as the foothold.

The 9th chapter tells that he crossed the Tuman River after concluding the offensive operation in the homeland and built up the northeast area of Mt. Paektu as another powerful fortress of the revolution and dealt one blow after another to the enemies by a large unit circling operation and brisk dispersed activities and the 10th chapter deals with the fact that the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army switched over to small unit activities from large unit activities and later was organized and strengthened into the international allied forces.

The 11th chapter recounts that the President gave an order of an all-out offensive to the units of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army for the final battle with the Japanese imperialists and accomplished the historic cause of the country’s liberation.

The 12th chapter deals with the fact that he established the revolutionary traditions of Juche in the flames of the anti-Japanese revolution.
