June 25, 2008 - Dunkirk, Indiana ~ Tommy Phillips II, was Honored as a Lifetime VIP Member. He has been in the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve for over 23 years. His service assignments include Germany, Korea, Japan, and the Middle East. Tommy is a Lifetime member of The American Veterans and a Lifetime member of The American Legion and Past Post Chaplain. He was also selected and recognized as the Support Officer of the year for 2006 at Terre Haute, IN Air National Guard Base. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Dunkirk High School Alumni Association.
Tommy received his Masters of Science Degree from Ball State University in 1983. He received his Bachelors’ of Science Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, Cum Laude, 1978.
Tommy Phillips II, will be deployed on July 23, 2008 for 6 months. He will be stationed at the Stater Air Force Base and will be working at the Bagdad International Airport. His duties will include Anti-terrisom and Force Protection Officer.
