Biltmore Who’s Who Selects Teresa Smith as an Honored Member of Professional Registry

Biltmore Who's Who specializes in providing members with pertinent biographical information of key Executives and Professionals that comprise its membership throughout North America.


(1888PressRelease) July 02, 2009 - Teresa Smith, Reading Specialist for the Maries County R2 School District, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Teresa Smith’s professional accomplishments in the education field.

Smith has been a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association, Computer Presentations CEC, Seminars for Local Teachers, is active in her Church, and enjoys serving as a chaperone for the Christ in Youth Summer Camp Trips.

Teresa Smith graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in 1985, and received her bachelors degree from the Springfield, Missouri based institution in Elementary Education (K-8) and Special Education (K-12). She began teaching in August of 1985 in a cross categorical classroom with grade levels of Kindergarten through Sixth grade. She has been teaching for a total of 23 years and has taught special education to the handicapped including learning disabled, mentally handicapped, health impaired, visually and hearing impaired, autistic, and behaviorally disordered.

For the last three years, Teresa Smith has been working with the Title One department, assisting with special education when necessary, in the area of reading. She has recently become the Reading Coordinator for the school district.

In her spare time, Teresa Smith enjoys reading, quilting, and hunting.

A strong commitment to further her personal skills and advancing her career is at the core of Smith’s success. Smith is very excited and honored to be recognized for her efforts by Biltmore Who’s Who and plans on making the most of the many networking opportunities that is presented to her by the association.
