Robin A. Sawlit, who earned her BA from Portland School of Art in 1983, has been working in the financial industry for the past twenty-four years, since 1986, and with MFS Investment Management for the last twenty-one.

Mrs. Sawlit says that although a large part of her day extends itself to administrative duties, managing staff and acquiring technical knowledge to make certain that you have the right team for the job is also crucial. "Ensuring that you've allocated roles and responsibilities is key to getting a project done in the time frames given by management," says Sawlit.
By watching her father grow from a product manager to owning his own business, Mrs. Sawlit has learned that she must reach as high as she can and never look back. She also believes that working with a great management team and a company that provides the right learning tools is important, not only in her field, but in the business world in general in order to be successful. Known for completing numerous year-long projects in less than six months, Mrs. Sawlit is proof that you are only as strong as your team leaders.
