January 24, 2009 - Holyoke — The selection recognizes Rhonda Smith’s commitment to excellence in the education field. For the past 26 years, Rhonda Lynn Smith has been very successful teaching art to children. She has always had a love for children as well as art, so becoming an art educator was a perfect combination for her. She teaches art for Elementary, Middle School, and Junior High School levels.
Not only has Rhonda Smith been a teacher of art, she has also taught study skills, computer keyboarding, P.E., Advisor/Advisee, and reading, has coached Junior High Girls Basketball and Junior High Co-ed Track. In addition, she has volunteered as a High School Track Coach and has served on countless committees and has even earned an award for excellence in Teaching.
In her spare time, Rhonda Lynn Smith enjoys all outdoor sports, water skiing, snow skiing, photography, and attending her children’s’ athletic events and extracurricular activities.
