July 14, 2009 - The selection recognizes Heather Johnston's commitment to excellence in the field of Computers.
Johnston, who is currently pursuing her BA in Computer Informational Systems through DeVry Institute, began working in the computer industry over ten years ago. She has a website design business, called Johnston's Website Designs and also maintains a domain name and web hosting site called Gosita, both of which she started over two years ago. After a short time, she put the two together and formed an online cooking blog called Cook with Gosita, due to her love of cooking.
After going back to college last fall, Johnston has been working hard to put her computer skills to work. "My knack for computers and years of hands on experience has contributed to my success," she said.
In the meantime, her businesses offer domain names, web hosting, create your own website kits, and much, much more at very low prices. "At Johnston's Website Designs, I create websites, e-commerce sites and I also allow the customers to update their own site after I create it," Johnston said.
Mrs. Johnston credits her family for inspiring her to pursue a career with computers, more specifically, her husband, children and mother. She said she found a knack for computers and decided to make a career out of doing what she loves.
In her spare time, Johnston enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.
