Biltmore Who's Who Selects Cynthia Fabian As An Honored Member Of The Executive And Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Cynthia Fabian's commitment to excellence in the writing industry.

New York, NY (1888PressRelease) December 24, 2009 - Cynthia Fabian, freelance writer and former school teacher, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.

Cynthia Fabian, who studied English Writing and Journalism for her undergraduate degree at Queens College, earning her BA in 1994, went on to complete a Master's Degree in Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at St. John's University in 1999. She spent ten years teaching English and English as a Second Language (ESL), and it was during this time that she also took up writing in her free time before making the transition completely.

Fabian's first book is now on stands, titled "Those Sweet Nothings." Published in 2009 by Publish America, the book is a collection of vignettes depicting dates gone wrong. An assortment of funny and stark interviews that prove that not all dates were meant to be, she declares chemistry as the prime component of a very successful or very miserable ending to a date.

With her teaching now days behind her, Fabian can focus all of her time on her writing career. Her favorite genre, she explains, is children's books, saying, "I write books to try to help others. Inside me is the desire to show others how to embrace English, and love of reading, just as I had always done." She also enjoys ghost writing for other authors, as an interesting way of keeping her skills sharp.

Fabian has gotten her feet wet in journalism and the media aspect of the business with some local and regional reporting experience, too. She's worked for Working Woman Magazine, Alert Publishing Company, Healson Communications and ACE Community Technology, spanning ten years. She's written several Op-Ed pieces for NY Newsday and has been broadcasted on the radio more than ten times as a relationship expert. She has participated in a number of consulting projects, including ones with Prestwick House, Princeton Review and WNET-Channel 13.

Ms. Fabian is currently working on her next book, "Second Hand Art," a children's book. She lectures at her local library in her spare time, and is a member of a local religious group. She is also a strong supporter of her local police department. Cynthia enjoys theater, gardening, yoga, walking and relaxing at her favorite place, Wave Hill Park, during her down time.
