April 17, 2008 - Jill Wells Heath, president of Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women (TCREW) (www.tcrew.org), an organization which provides a forum for fostering relationships among commercial real estate women professionals in the Triangle market, has announced that Bill Padgett, chair of the Raleigh Citizen Advisory Council, spoke at the organization’s April 3 meeting about preserving the remaining 306 acres of the Dorthea Dix campus as a park after the Dorthea Dix Mental Health Facility closes this year. Padgett feels that designating the land as a central park for the state will have a positive impact on both the environment and the economy, as well as improve the quality of life for Triangle residents.
