San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease)
July 18, 2008 - The BikeWear World crew drove from the San Diego headquarters to the Santa Monica pier, to film and witness the freestyle motocross superstar, Ronnie Renner, jump a world record height of 59.2 feet high on a quarter pipe.
“The venue was historically amazing, the crowd was loud and supportive, and the sponsor Red Bull had created an unforgettable evening complete with a MiG, flipping helicopter routine, rock bands and sky divers. It was an event that made people proud to be apart of and witness history in the making,” says Sami Tauber, CEO of BikeWear World L.L.C. and www.youbike.tv
Ronnie Renner is a respected freestyle motocross veteran, winning a gold medal in 2007 Summer X Games for a similar jump of only 35 feet. Ronnie Renner will now be recorded into Guinness World Records for the Santa Monica Red Bull Experiment.
“The New York City Triathlon will also be an exciting venue to witness for the triathlon industry,” says Tauber. The top five men and women elite finishers automatically qualify for the Toyota US Open Triathlon in Dallas October 12, 2008. The US Open is the Championship for the Life Time Fitness Series. Qualifiers receive free air, hotel, entry, gift pack and more at the US Open!
Tauber says, that “We are taking an immediate transatlantic flight to Paris from NYC to witness the ending stages of the Tour De France. It is really exciting. Hopefully we come back with some really interesting cycling news or gossip, that hasn’t been reported or covered.”
Good luck to the BikeWear World crew…Bon Voyage!
