October 08, 2009 - Hip-Hop recording artist Big Dreek has a single entitled "Grinding." This long awaited project is brought to you compliments of Southern Boy Entertainment and it's due to be released on late October 2009. We are currently seeking press engagements and interview opportunities for Big Dreek while he tours across the country this Fall. Dreek is on the rise and has been establishing himself in the Southeast for a few years now.

Big Dreek and Southern Boy Entertainment will be introducing Big Dreek's new single “Grinding” during the BET Hip-Hop Awards Weekend. This will be a weekend full of celebrities, musicians and every major music media outlet in the world. “Grinding” is Big Dreek's testimony to his hard work and collective efforts in gaining recognition and respect in a cut throat rap game. Big Dreek is more then a rap star he is also co-owner and CEO of Southern Boy Entertainment. Southern Boy Ent has been a force to reckon with in the Southeast for the past few years. Now with Big Dreek and the SBE fam being tighter then ever, they are ready to take the rap game by storm. With his current single on the way, and having already gained the respect and approval of the streets, Big Dreek and Southern Boy Entertainment will be the names on everybody’s lips this year and for years to come.
Inspired by artist like Tupac, Biggie, and Big Daddy Cane, this emcee and record label CEO is prepared to introduce the world to what he deems as music with something to say. Compiled of issues that relate to more than just the ear and in fact touch the heart, Big Dreek is more than able to stand strong in an industry that is as predictable as it is black and white. “I’m different because I got something to say,” starts Big Dreek when asked what about him makes him different from most new artist. “There are a lot of artists that just rap about what they see and what they think they should be rapping about. I come from my own experiences and I am really trying to resurrect the art of story telling, not just bars that rhyme.”
Our goal is to successfully introduce Dreek as a confident lyricist and professional business man to the consumer by building as much awareness to his music. We will display Dreek's unique musical talent and exponentially build upon his strong initial fan base. We will solicit third company marketing partners that will support us in bringing awareness to Big Dreek. We will be aided by airplay, press, street teams and on-line initiatives.
