  • Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) October 28, 2014 - Beyonce.com, personal blog and official website to superstar singer Beyonce Knowles, recently launched its 'Inspiration' section early October in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each Wednesday in October, Beyonce.com is highlighting stories of those who have had their lives affected by breast cancer. Beauty Bakerie CEO Cashemere Nicole shares her inspirational story of survival and her journey with what she calls "broken boobs".

Across the nation, the month of October serves as a platform for businesses to encourage customers and employees to support breast cancer awareness. For Cashmere, CEO of popular cosmetics line Beauty Bakerie the cause is personal. In early 2012 Cashmere was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer affecting only 2% of people. Since then, she has completed a double mastectomy and is proud to share her story of survival and hardships. For Cashmere, her focus is not solely on awareness but also assisting those currently facing the battle on their own in need of emotional support. Giving back was always something Cashmere has been passionate about. Before her company Beauty Bakerie was launched she knew a charitable agenda would be at the forefront of the company.

"I was more than willing to share my story for Beyonce.com. During my battle hearing the stories of other women was a constant reminder that I am strong and not alone. I think its amazing that Beyonce made it a point to shed light on such and important topic. I hope my story can inspire others" said Cashmere.

Additionally, during the entire month of October, Cashmeres company Beauty Bakerie is promoting the 'Pledge a Pink Lippie' Campaign. The campaign came about from Cashmeres personal experience of having to cope with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.

"People are able pledge a pink lipstick to be given to a breast cancer patient as we shift our efforts from awareness to caring for those who are on the front line with breast cancer. " Cashmere said. "We are providing a small token to make these women feel beautiful while giving them hope and something to smile about. Let's make it cool to still love and show support because we never know when we will need it." She added.
