September 05, 2007 - The Piper Law Firm is now open in Beverly Hills. This criminal defense only law firm aims to provide quality legal representation at a reasonable rate.
“It was the right time,” according to founding partner David M. Piper. “I had gone about as far as I could go in Century City. It was honor to work with Bill Graysen, but I could not learn any more from him.”
David M. Piper was a partner at the Graysen Law Firm in Century City. With the exception of a brief period as a civil rights lawyer, he has been practicing criminal defense for most of his career. He has tried cases that involve charges ranging from drunk driving to murder, domestic violence to the death penalty.
“I really wanted to start this project,” said Piper. “There are too many people who cannot afford justice. I think Century City quality should be in the reach of the common man.”
The Piper Law Firm will focus its practice exclusively on criminal defense. The practice will engage in matters ranging from drunk driving to murder, as well as some white collar offenses. Department of Motor Vehicles hearings will also be part of the firm’s practice.
