June 20, 2008 - Acura MDX is a large, seven-seat luxury SUV that is known for its power, luxury and agile handling capability. Since its introduction in 2001; it has undergone a series of changes. The latest of these was carried out on its 2007 model, most of which has been retained for the 2008 model.
The 2008 Acura MDX is a sport utility vehicle that is built on a car platform. Equipped with a 3.7-liter, SOHC VTEC V6 24-valve engine, it has a powerful output of 300 hp and fuel economy of between 17 and 22 mpg. The 2008 Acura MDX offers a standard 5-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sport Shift and Grade Logic Control and an All-Wheel-Drive (AWD).

The Sport Package is available at $ 45,795. The premium features of this trim are special wheels; an active damper system sport suspension and perforated leather trims, which are in addition to all the features available in the Technology package.
MDX with the Entertainment Package has a rear-seat DVD entertainment system; a power lift-gate; heated second-row seats, and a 115-volt power outlet. A combination of MDX with Technology and Entertainment Packages can be had for $45,895, while MDX with Sport and Entertainment Packages costs $47,995.
