December 29, 2006 - In a barren wasteland of “Big Box” stores and bland, homogeneous design options, Luxury Kitchens and Appliances (LKA) breaks new ground by introducing one of Atlanta finest design outfits, Fusion Design Group, to its fast growing customer base.
“People demanded it and we delivered”, explained Ken Lemal, President of LKA. “Customers were looking for something more. They wanted exceptional, high performing kitchens with a distinct style and flair.”
Fusion Design Group, based in the trendy Miami Circle District in Buckhead brings cool, hip, cutting edge design options to a place starving for originality when the only option was the giant, cookie cutter superstores that only offer “adequate” personal service. LKA and Fusion are for people who want more performance and style in the kitchens.
“In living up to the name Luxury, we realized we needed to team up with the best. It was clear that Fusion was the perfect choice for us.” continued Lemal. “We realized that many consumers and builders needed this kind service but were unable to drive to Buckhead.”

Fusion combines the talents of four experienced and respected Atlanta designers: Shirley McFarlane, Emmye Otto, Pamela Goldstein Sanchez, and Shadawn Zareh. They offer design services and specialize in fine cabinetry for kitchens, baths, wardrobes and other rooms. They feature a diverse collection of products, providing their clientele a “sense of unlimited possibility and product that expresses their individual tastes and desires.”
Fusion has designed many of the South’s finest kitchens including the kitchen of the executive producer of the nationally syndicated Neil Bortz radio program, Belinda Skelton.
Fusion’s award winning designers have adorned the covers and featured of many industry’s top publications.

LKA has a fashionable kitchen showroom where customers can browse Fusion’s portfolio. The showroom is meeting place where consumers, builders and designers experience the ability to really get a good feel for appliances, cabinets, countertops (granite, quartz, etc.) and the other elements of their vision of their kitchen.
The showroom contains a variety of kitchen vignettes outfitted with the latest appliances from manufactures like Viking, GE, Northland, Jenn Air, DCS and Fisher & Pakel. The room also contains many large granite meeting tables where plans are created, reviewed and executed. Trained professionals are onsite to ensure that the patrons’ questions are answered and needs are met.
To complete a truly original kitchen of distinction, LKA showcases the works of popular Georgia Artists in canvas, sculpture and other mediums. Artists’ works are available for purchase and for commission. Currently displayed are works from world renowned artists Sergey Cherep, Jeffrey Lange and Joanne Gossman. The works of other talented artist are featured regularly in sponsored art events at the LKA showroom.

The showroom located at 8295 Hwy 92, in Woodstock is currently open from 9-5 Monday-Friday and Saturdays from 9-4 or by appointment.
