August 11, 2008 - Preston joined Becker Arena Products in the accounting department in October 1994 and was promoted to controller and vice president in 1998. In her new position Preston will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Preston will work with company founder and president, Jim Becker to develop company opportunities and evaluate strategy options while increasing market share and improving overall quality and operations efficiencies.
Close joined Becker Arena Products in February of 1995 in the Dasher Manufacturing Division assembling Hockey Boards. Shortly after joining Becker Close was promoted to Shop Supervisor and in 2003 he was promoted to Head Project Manager and now the position of Manufacturing Division Leader. In his new position Close will manage the day-to-day manufacturing operations, job flow, efficiencies, schedules and quality control and overall company manufacturing strategy.
