April 11, 2008 - Austin, TX – Two new bar-b-que tools are so innovative that they have been patented and are predicted to become standard BBQ equipment, and were recently featured in the New Product Pavilion of the Hearth, Patio, and Barbeque Expo.
Wiseco, Inc. has announced the introduction of the WiseHooker®, Clean-n-Flip multi-purpose grill tool, and the WiseLifter™, Hook-n-Lift, the perfect turkey lifter for grills, smokers and roasters.
“The response to both our innovative multi-purpose grill tool and perfect turkey lifter at the Barbeque show was excellent. The most common remark was that these tools are so innovative they will quickly become standard grilling equipment,” said Terry Markwardt, president and C.E.O. of Wiseco, Inc.
He said he created the WiseHooker because of his own grilling frustrations.
“Turning meat and vegetables on a hot grill can be a real challenge. You either end up with burned fingers and drop expensive food on the ground. Also, cleaning the grill is very frustrating. The brushes only remove the loose grit and do not clean the underside of the grate, and the wire bristles could break off and could get in my food,” explained Markwardt.
The unique design of the WiseHooker, Clean-n-Flip, makes BBQ grilling safer and easier because it combines the functions of several tools in one. It does the job of a grate cleaning tool, grate removal tool, tong, fork, spatula, and food turner. Since it is made from surgical grade stainless steel it will stay sharp and will never corrode, and it works equally well for both right and left handed people.
