September 13, 2007 - Bay City Music Launches website to Support Original Music Company to Serve Mid Michigan’s Music Lovers
Auburn, MI... Bay City Music has launched its informational website BayCityMusic.com, according to the company's owner and founder, Barry Seward. Along with the Bay City area, it will also serve the mid-Michigan metropolitan areas of Flint, Saginaw, Midland and Mt. Pleasant.
"I am excited to officially launch BayCityMusic.com," Seward said. "This is a great community, and it means a lot for me to be able to start the company here in Bay City and to serve the entire mid-Michigan area. The company is headquartered here, and our sole mission is to help grow the extremely talented mid-Michigan music scene."
Seward is actually returning to the area where his father, Michael, now serves as the President of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
Barry Seward and everyone associated with Bay City Music are volunteers that share the common desire to promote local, original musicians.
Bay City Music offers a wide variety of free services for musicians, club owners and fans, including local club schedules and comprehensive learning and contact resources for local bands, fans and promoters.
"By bringing together fans, media and local artists, we feel confident that with the talent our local musicians possess, nationwide attention will be spotlighted on mid-Michigan in the near future" Seward said.
The company has also complimented its website with its myspace page at http://www.MySpace.com/BayCityMusic The addition of MySpace has allowed Bay City Music contact with hundreds of additional local musicians and fans who solely rely on MySpace for there music information.
"I'm proud to help fans of original music connect with some of the greatest bands mid-Michigan offers," Seward said. "In addition, we are always looking for like-minded volunteers to review cds and concerts."
