September 26, 2008 - Barter Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Jeff Henderson as their new Chief Executive Officer. The new Barter Chamber of Commerce has been swiftly creating the leadership team that will guide them. A newly formed Executive Board unanimously chose Jeff Henderson as their founding CEO. Henderson is highly respected for his leadership skills, fund raising abilities, creative marketing strategies and has a proven track record of working with non profit organizations. He has over 14 years of experience working with various Chambers of Commerce, small businesses and corporations. He currently is serving as president of Worship Loud Ministries and founder of BarterZap.com.
“When we met Jeff we knew that he was the perfect person to lead this new organization. His energy level and enthusiasm is just what our new chamber needs and his marketing skills and familiarity with businesses and leaders in the industry are an added bonus,” stated Adam Tucker, Director of Communications. “We spoke to him on a Friday, asked him to begin on the following Monday. Under his leadership in one week's time, the Chamber had a brand new web site. That same week, Jeff also created and directed her first strategic planning session with the Executive Board. Now, that is the type of leadership we need to move us forward - he is a dynamo,” stated D.K. Mason, Director of Governmental Affairs. “Our Members are in awe of his talents and just want to sit back and let him drive the bus,” he further stated.
