October 24, 2009 - Perkiomenville, PA - SkippyFiSH Bait Co announced today that they have signed a deal with the balloon boy to represent a line of fishing lure products. The company manufactures a line of soft plastic fishing lures called a SkippyFiSH. Lou Consoli, CEO of SkippyFiSH Bait Co. said today that they were excited about the new venture.
"This was a very strange offer, something a normal person would never even think of but after discussing the details in length it only made sense to move forward and secure the deal. It's crazy. Since the story broke the attention has been overwhelming," Consoli said.
"We consider our company to be on the cutting edge in the fishing industry with a great product that people all around the world love, it's kinda like a cult following, SkippyFiSH, it's catchy." Details of the deal have not been disclosed by the company as we understand that a confidentiality agreement has been signed by both parties. When asked of the specifics of the deal and what role the balloon boy would play, Mr. Consoli said, "no more comments."
A representative of the company said additional information about the agreement will be disclosed in the near future on the companies web site.
