May 17, 2008 - Miami, FL – Bert Oliva, International author and founder of B.O.W.A. (Bert Oliva Wealth Academy), today announced that he and B.O.W.A. has pulled all of their assets and resources from the Doral Chamber of Commerce (DCC) and that the Joint Venture was dissolved. DCC previously and prematurely announced in April, 2008 Mr. Oliva as the Chairman of the Board of Directors before any solid agreements were signed by DCC and Bert Oliva. There aren’t very many details as to what occurred between the leaders of the organization and the B.O.W.A. organization, however this dissolution comes very sudden after a very short partnership, and B.O.W.A. has a long history of successful joint venture, none were ever so short.
90% of the board members brought on by Mr. Oliva have also pulled out of the organization. This leaves DCC very weak without the backing or foundation of a “prestigious name” like Bert Oliva (quoted by one of the vice presidents of the chamber in the April issue of the Doral Tribune).
