June 10, 2008 - When it comes to choreographing and producing segments for major television networks, Travis Payne is in high demand. Just off his recent segment with ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, tribute to Michael Jackson featuring R&B star Omarion, the award winning choreographer is currently set to choreograph The 6th Annual TV Land Awards. Travis will be choreographing the opening number featuring Vanessa Williams performing with some of TV’s most beloved stars, and will create a segment featuring music legend Lionel Richie who will take the stage for a musical performance. The show will tape on Sunday, June 8 at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA and will premiere on TV Land on Sunday, June 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The TV Land Awards is the network’s annual salute to the best and brightest in the world of entertainment. This year, the show will feature reunions of some of the most iconic casts from TV, showcase rousing musical performances and the always-popular television show parody, and for the first time ever, honor favorites in movies.
