July 11, 2008 - Ann Arbor, MI/July 10, 2008 – Chris Lin, award-winning author of the acclaimed children’s book series Mandy and Pandy, will be holding three book signings/readings at two New York City locations.
Mandy and Pandy is an exciting series of twelve educational children’s books, teaching parents and their children to speak Chinese starting with the award winning book Mandy and Pandy Say “Ni Hao Ma?”. These wonderful books not only include an accompanying CD, they also display Chinese characters as well as pin yin phonetics, which help the reader pronounce the Chinese characters.
Author and creator Chris Lin says he sees the importance of learning Chinese as a good foundation for future generations to communicate in a more global marketplace. Coinciding with the Beijing Olympics, books 3 and 4 are due to be released this month. These are Mandy and Pandy “Visit China” and Mandy and Pandy “Play Sports.”
