March 19, 2008 - Mr. Hewitt donated all book sales from "The Christmas Tree" to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, Make A Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, and the Elizabethtown Community Hospital Auxillary. The monies were split equally between all the charities. Mr. Hewitt feels that children are the true innocents of the world. He wrote the book, "The Christmas Tree" and has dedicated it to children worlwide.
Here is a quote from the book, " The Holiday Seasons are for children of all ages and sizes. Yes, even you, the Senior Citizen who is not physically a child. You can still feel like a child in your mind and heart. What better joy is there than the one felt while giving and receiving presents? My hope is that by writing this book I can help children."
