Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease)
January 29, 2008 - "Where I was born music is all about feeling 'Irie' which means being happy and feeling great," Jason explains. "That's what I want to share,"
The "irie" flavour Jason B puts in his live shows and recordings has taken the Aussie artist overseas, to rock royal gigs at the palace of the King of Tonga and recently on a first time tour of India.
"I think people everywhere respond to music that lifts the human spirit up," he says. "I've been fortunate to play for a king in the royal palace in Tonga and for the poorest of the poor in a slum in India. Wherever I go I see the power of music to turn a frown to a smile."
Jason B's new album "Love Vibration" is a blend of island-inspired melodies with the more familiar rocks/pop sounds favoured in his homeland Australia.
The album features feel good pop-reggae tracks like "Jamaican me Crazy" and "Caribbean Nights" alongside radio friendly rock/pop songs like "Love Vibration" and the soothing "Next to You."
The result is a musical cocktail that has fans across the world downloading free music and ringtones via his myspace web page.
"I'm very excited by the response I’ve had especially in the US and Europe," says Jason. "Music is the party I want to share."
Aussie music maker Jason B believes music can lift the human spirit and build bridges between nations. Check out his tour videos and music
