March 04, 2009 - Austin Texas based Business Finance Solutions has started a group on Meetup called the Austin Small Business Operations and Gorilla Finance Jungle.
The group will meet monthly and invite experts to share their knowledge and experience with our group on various finance and operations topics including, traditional and non-traditional financing methods, real estate finance, SBA loans, equipment leasing, accounting, collections, and other topics the group requests.
The first meeting of the Austin Small Business Operations and Gorilla Finance Jungle will be held on March 26, 2009 at La Madeline’s 3418 N. Lamar, (35th St and Lamar near Seton). Grab a bite to eat between 11:30AM and Noon. The program will start promptly at Noon and end at 1:00 PM.
The first meeting will be an informal program on the status of small business financing in and around the Central Texas area. We will discuss working capital, micro-loans, real estate loans, area community banks, equipment leasing, and alternatives to traditional borrowing. We will have an expert in each field prepared to discuss their specialties. We will also have a trade credit representative there and a representative of an Austin collection agency that specializes in soft collections.
