March 21, 2009 - Wilton, NH, U.S. - Moscow, Russia - Auriga, a provider of software R&D services, announces that it was included in Top Service Providers in Eastern and Central Europe of the 2009 Global Services 100 List, a research by Global Services Media and neoIT. Auriga is included in Global Services 100 for the fourth straight year.
"Many of the turbulent events in global economy unfolded in 2008 made this year’s Global Services 100 survey an interesting exercise. The year 2008 was not particularly bad for the global services industry, an industry that experiences a lagging economic impact because of the long decision-making cycles. This year, hundreds of IT and BPO service providers from all over the world were invited to take part in the Global Services 100 survey. Outsourcing services vendors from 19 countries, with delivery centers across 31 countries, participated in the study. Company operations effectiveness, service offerings, customers relationship, and employee management areas were evaluated by the panel of Global services and neoIt experts, using a weighted scoring scheme to rate each question. The 2009 Global Services 100 and the 11 category winners were announced at the Global Services Conference 2009 at NYC on February 26th.
