Audrey and Ms. Summer's husband, Bruce Sudano, also a da Silva Artist client, is singing backup on tomorrow's show and also on David Letterman on Monday night. So tune in to see Audrey and Bruce and of course the great DIVA herself, the beautiful, Miss Donna Summer.
Diversity and guts encompass every aspect of the Audrey Martell experience. She has an incredibly insightful outlook on life and a child-like imagination pours into her music. Audrey has built a successful career as a songwriter for gifted legends such as George Benson and Randy Crawford.
After achieving much success as a writer and recording artist, Audrey Martell quickly made her move to the performance side of her rocketing career. While perfecting her skills fronting her own band in NYC, Audrey caught the eye and gained the respect of so many of her peers. Soon, she was performing with Brandy and shining on Celine Dion’s recording of "Happy". Calls from Jewel, Britney Spears, Michael McDonald, Anastasia soon followed, together with Mary J. Blidge, Joan Osborne, Paulina Rubio and Mandy Moore being just a few of the many artists Audrey has recorded and toured with.
After scoring an unexpected spot as a solo artist on the "Save the Last Dance" soundtrack, it was a wake-up call for her to step out to center stage for good. With her CD Life Lines, Audrey Martell has written music that is timely, heartfelt and free from limitations. Her originality is a force to be reckoned with, and her voice is one that speaks to the true music lover in all of us.
